Deactivating
Each licence can be active on two computers per user. Before you move PowerScripts to a new computer, deactivate it on the old one.
- Open Illustrator
- Open PowerScripts
- Open the panel menu (top right corner of the PowerScripts panel)
- Choose Deactivate…
Requesting a manual deactivation
If you no longer have the computer (for example it was lost, stolen or damaged), email support@o2creative.co.nz and ask us to deactivate it. Send the email from the address the licence is registered to, and include your licence or serial number. You can see which computers are active on your licence in Manage licences.
Uninstalling
If you close the PowerScripts panel it will not run, and will not affect the performance of Illustrator. To permanently remove PowerScripts, close Illustrator and delete the nz.co.o2creative.powerScript_… folders (for example nz.co.o2creative.powerScript_10_1_6) from your user's extensions folder:
Windows:
C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP\extensions\
macOS:
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/ (how to see the hidden Library folder)
Your settings and downloaded PowerScripts versions are kept in the nz.co.o2creative.common folder next to the CEP folder (…\Adobe\nz.co.o2creative.common). Delete it too only if you want to remove all settings.
PowerScripts 3.7 and older were installed in a folder called nz.co.o2creative.powerScript in the same user folder, or for all users in:
Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\
macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/
