Below are the common problems when installing PowerScripts with the installer from license.o2creative.co.nz/install.

Nothing happens when I drop the file onto Illustrator

Make sure Illustrator is open and you drop the file onto the main Illustrator window (not onto a panel or an open document tab bar).
Or use File > Scripts > Other Script… in Illustrator and select the downloaded file.
Make sure you downloaded the .jsx file. If your browser renamed it (for example added .txt), download it again.

Illustrator asks whether to run the script

That's normal: click Continue. The installer runs inside Illustrator and only installs PowerScripts for your user account.

PowerScripts does not appear in Window > Extensions

Close and reopen Illustrator after installing - new extensions only appear after a restart.
Look for PowerScripts 2026 Loader in Window > Extensions.
Check you're using Illustrator 2021 or newer (2024 or newer recommended).
Restart your computer and run the installer again.

I see an empty PowerScripts panel

That's the old PowerScripts 3.7 panel still docked in your workspace. The installer turned it off, so it stays empty. Close that panel (or drag it out and close it), then open the new one from Window > Extensions > PowerScripts 2026 Loader.

I want PowerScripts 3.7 back

Run the installer again and open its Tools tab: you can turn PowerScripts 3.7 back on (and off again) there. Restart Illustrator afterwards.

The installer says an older version is installed for all users

An older PowerScripts was installed for every user of the computer, usually by an IT administrator. It can't be turned off without administrator rights. Ask your IT administrator to remove the nz.co.o2creative.powerScript folder from:

Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\ (or C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\)
macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/

Connection errors

PowerScripts downloads its latest version from license.o2creative.co.nz. Check your internet connection, and if you're on a company network, ask your IT administrator to allow that address.

PowerScripts says it failed to start

PowerScripts shows the version list when the last start didn't finish. Click Start to try again, or choose an earlier version from the list. If it keeps happening, please send us your log files.
